S.Y.K. wurde 1989 gegründet und hat seinen Firmensitz in der Demirtas Organised Industriezone von Bursa. Die Produktion wurde mit dem weben von Dobby – und Jacquardstoffen begonnen und durch die Garn- und Stückfärberei ergänzt.

Seit 1999 verkauft und exportiert YEKPA seine Produktion selbst.

Die textilen Flächengewebe von S.Y.K. werden zu 65% exportiert, 35% werden an einheimische Bekleidungshersteller geliefert, die auch selbst ihre Produkte exportieren. Durch die Teilnahme an internationalen Fachmessen baut YEKPA seine Marktanteile kontinuierlich aus.
